Microbrewed Beer of the Month Club

As members of the Microbrewed Beer of the Month Club over the last six months thanks to Coach & AG, Scottie and I “sampled” 4 different beer styles each month in our shipment of 12 beers (3 bottles per style) from 2 different lightly distributed U.S. microbreweries. This added up to 72 beers emptied, approximately 11 new microbreweries sampled, and approximately 24 styles of beer consumed.

With a new box of 12 bottles arriving every month (check out the impressive packing in the pictures above), you’d think we could easily put that away in a week or so, but with the Sunset Wine of the Month club, our Spring travels, and all of our other weekend activities (Scottie would laugh at that comment), we had to go to extreme measures implementing Wednesday Night Beer Night. It sort of reminds me of TNDC (Tuesday Night Drinking Club) that Margaret and I concocted back in college although we haven't resorted to the need for an intense game of cards.  Instead, we simply reward ourselves for getting through “hump” day.   Here are some of the beers we have tried over the last several months:
