Jessica and Patrick's Baby Shower

Part 2 of baby shower weekend, and part 3 of back-to-back-to-back Chicago weekends celebrating Jessica and Patrick this time around.  I arrived Friday night in time to have a few drinks with Kitty and James as they opened their place to me to bunk this weekend.

Saturday morning, Kitty and I met up with Amy, Margaret, Nora, and Jessica for brunch at Toast in Bucktown!  Followed up by a leisurely afternoon in Chicago and evening of showering Jessica and Patrick at Rachel and Caleb's apartment up in Ravenswood area.

On the way out, I was able to hit up a new Chicago place for me, MeliCafe, but I imagine by the crowd outside the door that's no secret to most of the locals.  Lisa suggested this popular brunch spot in Greektown, and I can certainly see why with their organic options and unique smoothies, I was hooked, and stuffed for my 5 hour drive back! 

Enjoyed seeing the Pure Michigan sign as I returned once again from Chicago!
