O.A.R. at Meadow Brook Music Festival

Carrying on a tradition, we headed to the Meadowbrook Festival in Auburn Hills to see O.A.R.  Every year, we arrive shortly after doors open, take our walking tour of the festival grounds, grab a very large beer, check out the t-shirts, and make our way to our seats.  And every year, we've been upgrading our seats as this year, we almost made it into the single digits!
O.A.R. typically does a good job of bringing some solid openers, and this year was no exception as Andrew McMahon took the stage.  The former lead singer for Something Corporate and Jack's Mannequin woke the crowd up as he came out banging the keyboard.  The man can certainly entertain and he still has the same voice I remember from his previous hits, including Dark Blue and I Woke Up in a Car!
O.A.R. played a robust setlist with 24 songs, including some of our favorites like City on Down, Shattered, Lay Down, Heard the World, and Poker.  They also finished with a rendition of Live and Let Die bringing Andrew McMahon back on the stage!

Here are some of our previous show experiences: Summer of 2007 at Freedom HillSummer of 2008 at Meadowbrook, Fall of 2009 at Meadowbrook), and Summer of 2010 at Meadowbrook.
