Where did 2010 Go?

Welcome back to Life in Birmingham, Michigan 2011-style.  9 months since my last post and I think several of my dedicated readers (2) have given up on me, but I'm still rolling strong in Birmingham and many places beyond the boundaries of I-94, I-75, and I-275.  In fact, Scottie and I have torn up Michigan, Chicago, St. Louis, New Jersey, Boston, Providence, San Francisco/Portland, and Dallas since I've last posted so I have a large task of doing the undo-able: back-blogging or back-posting or something like that.

I'm fine with that though because this was always meant to be a fun place for me to capture all of our crazy travel adventures within and beyond Michigan as well as our daily encounters with the suburban lifestyle in Metro Detroit.  It has become handy when making recommendations to others!

Anyway, just wanted to let you know that yes, I'm still open and there will be a flurry of posts coming soon.  My goal is to be back to real-time blogging after this April when Scottie takes me on an adventure outside of the United States.  Stay tuned for more on that...

As always, thanks for reading, if there is anyone else out there besides Scottie, my Mom, my sister, and Rob who gave me a friendly reminder just a few weeks ago about my lack of posting. Good times. Let's hope 2011 keeps me just as busy as 2010 did!
