Thanksgiving Dinner and Garden Bowl at the Majestic

Scottie and I prepared our first turkey (while indulging in some tasty seasonal beers) ever for Thanksgiving this year in Birmingham as you can see our before/after photos above of our beast.  Complimenting our turkey, we prepared some of the marshmallow sweet potatoes, green bean casserole, pumpkin bread, and some Whole Foods stuffing.
For the special occasion, we even christened our wedding dishes from Crate & Barrel and opened one of the bottles of wine from our Leelanau Winery tour that we have been saving for a good meal, the Arcturos Pinot Noir from Black Star Farms.  The meal ended in delight with some pumpkin pie topped with some Starbucks Vanilla Bean Frappuccino wee ice cream and a cup of Starbucks Holiday Blend.

The next day, we met up with Tommy and Regina for some night time bowling at the Garden Bowl in the  Majestic Entertainment Center.  More pictures from the holiday weekend in my photo album.
